The House draws on African heritage through a contemporary eye. Each piece is a considered object, as beautiful to take out of your bag as it is to wear. A world where African culture is fully seen, and where elegance speaks of our Blackness.

MEET THE FOUNDER
JOAN EKOKO
Joan Ekoko is the founder of Vertuous Beauty. Raised in France and deeply connected to her Cameroonian roots, she grew up with a sense of beauty in which culture and elegance were never separate. Drawn to art, niche fragrances, makeup, luxury and interior design, she first imagined the brand in 2014 and launched it in 2022.
Over ten years as a cosmetic chemist and product developer, she has brought formulas, textures and shades to life — expertise that now informs every Vertuous Beauty creation.
